Valerian Root is supportive to the nervous system and is a calming herb for many people. This root promotes healthy sleep and relaxation. The ancient Greeks called valerian phu, owing to the unpleasant smell of its roots. Valerian Root has been used since ancient times to promote relaxation and healthy sleep.

Valerian Root originates in Poland, as well as parts of Asia. Valerian Root eventually became common in North America, where it thrives in moist, temperate climates. We receive this herb dry and activate the many beneficial properties within the plant through our extraction process.
