Our Cough Calming Syrup is a blend of expectorant herbs in a soothing, sweet-tasting syrup designed to calm a cough fast and effectively. This syrup should be taken for the duration of the cough.

Coltsfoot is the perfect herb to promote expectoration and has been used historically as a botanical remedy for coughs.

Licorice flavors the syrup and promotes a soothing coating of the respiratory tract.

Osha Root was used traditionally by Native Americans for respiratory conditions, to release mucus. An herb that grows only about 6000 ft in the mountains and is hard to come by and expensive but highly effective component of blends where it is present.

Lobelia, as an expectorant, acts as the best synergist in a remedy like this, bringing all of the other herbs together to work more effectively.

The mucilage within Marshmallow Root provides a nice soothing substance to coat the irritated tissue.
